Dennis Harvey Variety It creaks more than it creeps, to the extent that various scenes appear to be missing from director Jason DeVan's disjointed debut. Aug 10, 2018 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times None of this really leads anywhere original. From the opening text to the closing credits, this movie keeps lurching impatiently ahead toward scenes that horror fans have seen before. Aug 9, 2018 Full Review Peter Sobczynski eFilmCritic.com We get the usual array of badly timed ''BOO!'' moments and gross-out bits that have been seen in dozens of ''Exorcist'' riffs over the years. Feb 21, 2019 Full Review Adam Keller Film Threat Along Came The Devil's premise seems interesting at first but quickly devolves into a standard "possessed young girl" story. Rated: 5/10 Aug 28, 2018 Full Review Alex Arabian Film Inquiry Along Came the Devil balances haunting imagery and genuine scares with a realistic story about family, tragedy, and overcoming loss Aug 28, 2018 Full Review Jonathan W. Hickman Daily Film Fix ...a diverting, entertaining, and, at times, scary addition to the horror space. Rated: 6/10 Aug 12, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Celeste P Corny.! It was decent but it felt like all the young actors in this movie had never acted before which gave it a cheesy vibe if im being honestly and the story didnt feel consistent like it was constantly missing scenes Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/05/24 Full Review Zoe M Watched for Sydney Sweeney and was surprised this one is not getting more praise...I dunno Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/29/24 Full Review Anthony Unfortunately, the movie was a let down. The plot of the movie is disoriented. The score given is gracious. Nothing fit together. There was no clear foundation for the film. There was a lot introduced (characters and background information) with no development or answers to follow. And what was presented had no connection; as if pieced together in a random order. Sadly, I would not recommend watching. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/25/24 Full Review Audience Member This movie was so awful. Started out good but literally felt like many many scenes are missing, it was an awful jumble that tried to tell a story. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member lmao that entire movie was a big ol "wait what?" Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Is the worst movie I have ever seen in my life Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
