Lough's film doesn't endorse the alt-right, and some damning historical context is applied to suss out the atrocity of certain ideas. Potok is an especially welcome presence for his rigorous examination. Still, Age of Rage doesn't ever chart new ground.

One gets the sense that Lough might have been hoping for different results and confrontations than the ones he ultimately captured through his footage and interviews, but that doesn't make the final results any less potent to behold.

Sad attempt at someone with Trump derangement syndrome trying to self medicate with a camera and software. Never shows Trump and the 'alt-right' in the same room. The image of the guy on the cover throwing the molitov cocktail wasn't from the movie. And fails to mention the numerous Jewish family members of Trump and what he did for Israel. Like Trump or hate him, this was a desperate over-the-top effort to self-legitimize the producers own delusions. F for effort.
