See more 04/07/2011 This is another one of the BMWFILMS.com shorts that comes under the title of the Hire. Clive Owen is a chauffeur for a man who is carrying diamonds. And as per the titled they are Ambushed more like attempted car jacked. Of all the BMW films so far this is the worst one. Lots of action and stunts, but still only worth 2 1/2 stars. See more 09/06/2010 I expect a lot from a John Frankenheimer car-chase film, even if it is a short... some of it looked fake: cars run at slow speed and the film sped up (but so did Ronin)... still not bad and the (possibly unintentional) Vanishing Point-tribute at the end was nice See more 02/26/2009 Excellent in concept and opens beautifully with a spooky air of hard-edged danger, this episode of "The Hire" only falls short in the second half which features some surprisingly uninspired vehicle chase and action sequences.
