Joe Leydon Variety The well-cast lead actors infuse their characters with a persuasive and compelling sense of urgency, greatly enhancing the stretches of worst-case scenario suspense. Oct 8, 2021 Full Review Tony Asankomah GhMovieFreak The talents are great to watch. Each holds their own with the screen time they get and execute the character well enough to give meaning to the story they are telling. Rated: 5/10 Feb 13, 2022 Full Review Luke Y. Thompson CineGods.com The second act of the movie is so intent on a slow-burn that it takes forever to get to the good stuff. Hang with it, however, and you'll find the movie sticks the landing solidly. Jan 29, 2022 Full Review Evan Dossey Midwest Film Journal A taught thriller with well-developed characters and a world that doesn't seem far from our own. Jan 23, 2022 Full Review Loren King Loren King It's a disturbing premise bolstered by believable characters and the tension that director William Sullivan, who wrote the script with actor Jarret Kerr, deftly ratchets up. Jan 14, 2022 Full Review Alejandro Turdó Hoy Sale Cine American Insurrection becomes a cautionary tale of sorts, a crude depiction of xenophobia, racism and local terrorism... and the way this inherent violence ultimately affects both sides, every side. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/11/24 Full Review Dylan H The movie was horrible and full of plot holes. The actors were all good.(Nadine Malouf and Michael Raymond were the best.) Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/21/23 Full Review Erik J The filmmaker is condescending and rude to the film's subjects. It is put forward as a documentary but, it is an editorial and it does little to educate the audience on those involved in the January 6th insurrection. Poor execution of on interesting subject matter. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/17/23 Full Review Bobby M The writers had so much they could have done with this movie. It could have been a blockbuster, had they put some imagination into it. Instead, it was boring, slow moving, and had almost no action. You don't see the actual take-over, 1 actual fight scene. I was extremely disappointed. The actors were great, considering what they had to work with. I have read some astonishing reviews of this film, that seem like they are reviewing a different film. The entire film has at best, 10 minutes of action, if you can call it, that. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/31/23 Full Review Vera A This movie isn't about Politics, it's about a new world order that only a few will be able to survive and live a normal life! This group is trying to survive not only these others but each other in this new world by fleeing to Canada away from the crazies Very well done movie if you just watch it with an open mind! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/05/23 Full Review Danny P There's no such thing as cisgender Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
