One of my all time favorite movies. I remember buying the bootleg on the streets in Manhattan back when it came out (purchased a legit copy later). It's too bad Weiss didn't stick to this genre. He had the vibe of Long Island and the low level crime characters to a tee.

En "Amongst Friends" no hay grandes estrellas y la cinta es de bajo presupuesto, esta obra explosiva cinta es uno de los clásicos olvidados del cine de mafia. Llena de energía (y muy influenciada por el trabajo de Martin Scorsese), "Amongst Friends" es obligatoria para cualquier amante del género de gánsteres, del cual confieso, yo soy fanático.
