Steve A Brilliant Movie !! Wow ! Must See ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/24 Full Review JD S Weaves a very interesting story of the ignorance of society's upper class at the time but still holds true a 100 + years later. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/06/23 Full Review John L A good movie for mystery lovers. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/03/22 Full Review hisxmark The action is set in 1912, but questions raised are still timely. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/22/22 Full Review vj l Sophie Rundle and Finn Cole, both of the Peaky Blinders franchise, star in this exquisite film adaptation of JB Priestley's prescient stage play. A super rich family, sort of like the Gates, the Waltons, or the Zuckerbergs, are forced to face their greed and class prejudices one evening when a mysterious "Inspector" pays them a visit. Sophie Rundle gives another truly brilliant and emotionally charged performance. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Spicy B 55% audience score?! Wth?! This movie was deliciously poignant. Heart racing, gut wrenching, plot twistingly rhetorical. Ignorant as I am, only researched J.B. Priestly after watching this, but look forward to reading the play in its original form. Deborah Ross Daily Mail (UK) It's a sort of Murder On The Orient Express... as threaded through socialist politics, and while it still stands up, and even felt timely, it was the performances that made this special; made you forget the play-ness of it. Rated: 4/5 Aug 31, 2017 Full Review Farah Cheded A Good Movie To Watch A twisty moral drama exploding the myth of individualism. [Thewlis's is] an expertly intense performance, bringing the power of the writing to life in a way that’s not easy to shake off. Nov 25, 2023 Full Review Anne Brodie What She Said This story is thrilling under the direction of Aisling Walsh (Maudie), who brings cinematic quality akin to Downton Abbey and a sharp eye for human behaviour.
