Hotshot television anchorman Ron Burgundy welcomes upstart reporter Veronica Corningstone into the male-dominated world of 1970s broadcast news -- that is, until the talented female journalist begins to outshine Burgundy on air. Soon he grows jealous, begins a bitter feud with Veronica and eventually makes a vulgar slip on live TV that ruins his career. This is personally my self described favorite movie of all time. I have watched this movie probably at least 50 times. When I was in a touring band we would watch this, sometimes 3 times a day. I also used quotes from this film to do mic checks when getting the sound right on stage. I can understand that some people would hate this movie, but it is just dumb fun, and it will always be in my heart.
