12/22/2014 Absolute shit the first one was way better. Don't waste your time with this abortion terrible terrible film. See more 10/01/2010 The only reason I have for not giving this 1/2 a star is that the camera work and audio are much better than in some other real turkeys. Ancient Evil is so badly acted by some of the cast (not all are bad) and the storyline is so pathetic that it feels like this was trying to be a spoof, problem is that the movie is trying to be a horror movie and no a spoof. The main character (don't know his name or the characters name, and don't care to but it is the one is rebellious and always saying how bad everything sucks) is so bad it almost became funny, but than you realize he is playing the character straight and you feel sorry for him. The truth is this movie is bad and might deserve its place on the imdb top 100 worst movies of all-time. See more 06/20/2010 This mummy.. well I was eating & the close ups would make me wanna puke! Its mouth kind of reminded me of a Squid?s beak at one point. Its not an EGYPTIAN mummy its an Aztec one. The red head?s scream seemed to be dubbed in. The acting was so so. IN some scenes (or depending on the actor) it as irritating other times bearable. C- On a somewhat funny note. There?s a Michael Lutz that plays in this, & a Christopher Cullen!! (Lutz is the last name of the actor that plays Emmet & Cullen is the last name of the ?Vampires? in Twighlit.) See more 11/22/2009 Some movies are soo bad, they're good. As most everyone here knows, I have a fondness for those. But, to steal from the legitmatly great Ghost World, some things are soo bad they surpass being good and go back to being bad. This, this is one of those things. The over-acting would have been tolerable if any of the characters were likable, they weren't. The mummy makeup would have been fine for a movie of such a limited (I greatly stress that word) budget, but he's really fat. Some scenes are soo dark I have no idea what is going on in them. This could have been awesome, but sadly, was just awesomely bad. As a drinking game, though, this could be amazing! See more 10/12/2009 Hahaha OMG this movie is such a flop and so gay! Fat ass mummy that ain't scary and can't even walk fast or properly kill someone? Come on, you have to do better than this! See more 08/09/2009 it may not be bram stoker but its some great film. and funny when you see how cheap it acctually is. people get stabbed and theres no blood on the knife but theres blood all over the victims. good film though with great storyline.
