Audience Member O filme narra a tórrida paixão de Alberto, um aristocrata, por uma ovelha de sua casa de campo. Mas Alberto perde a razão e se torna perigoso, capaz de tudo para defender seu amor. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member if you love sheep the way I love sheep, this film was made for you. Even if you aren't a sheep person and you like to love other animals, you'll still be able to connect with this film that speaks to the animal lover in all of us. Animalada is a disturbing subject that is put forth seriously enough to make it enjoyable. You might expect a film to be more of a comedy but Animalada plays more to the thriller genre than any. Very European and very different. Even your pets will enjoy watching. LOL Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Animalada follows that age-old tradition of love between a man and a sheep. On one evening, while rich Spanish socialites Alberto and his wife Natalie vacation at their ranch, Alberto happens upon a random sheep that he immediately falls in love with. It doesn't take long before Alberto is sneaking off as many times as he can throughout the day to engage in sexual activities with the sheep. His love for the sheep becomes so powerful that he has no qualms or fears with killing or sabotaging friends, family, and random strangers who comes close to his lover. Animalada definitely takes the bizarre and turns it to 11 thanks to an interesting script written by Sergio Bizzio, who also directed the film. It combines a strong and genuine story of romance, lust, and betrayal that is presented in such a way that the mass majority of movie-goers just cannot handle. The story also has a great mixture of bizarre and Oliver Stone-esque symbolism that continually hints at the darker and darker direction the film goes in. Definitely an amusing watch, both for the humor, taboo, and violent aspects. Despite the fictional situations throughout the film, there's also a nice showcase of Spanish culture...amidst all the sheep fucking, of course. Also, good performances from the entire cast, especially Carlos Roffe, who carries the film as the demented Alberto.I enjoyed this twisted little flick.
