Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/13/23 Full Review Audience Member We follow 12 year old Maria as she is sold to some sort of brothel. Yes, this is horrible, horrible stuff. It's a dark story and it makes you angry, boiling inside. Child prostitution got to be the cruelest things on the face of this earth. The saddest thing about the film is still the way it's presented. It looks cheap, boring and hurried. Some characters comes as likeable with witty comments, the music is cheezy and unfitting. The build ups are non-excisting. Awkward acting, typical characters, dull lines and a predictable plot ruins much here. This film had loads of potential based on the plot alone. 4 out of 10 bananas in noisy bags. Rated 2/5 Stars •  Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review bill t Though hardly breaking new ground (child prostitution is bad!) this film still was very interesting, as a kid gets sold off by her folks and thrown into a small town brothel. Her attempts at escaping are fruitless, as her Pimp is a ruthless scumbag. There's not a heck of a lot of plot, but the lead character's misfortune, I;' sory to say, is pretty much the reason to stay riveted to this movie. O que ele faz aqui é um 'filme-denúncia'. Um eficiente exercício dramático com atuações exemplares. Mas não vai muito além disso. Pena.
