10/30/2015 We follow 12 year old Maria as she is sold to some sort of brothel. Yes, this is horrible, horrible stuff. It's a dark story and it makes you angry, boiling inside. Child prostitution got to be the cruelest things on the face of this earth. The saddest thing about the film is still the way it's presented. It looks cheap, boring and hurried. Some characters comes as likeable with witty comments, the music is cheezy and unfitting. The build ups are non-excisting. Awkward acting, typical characters, dull lines and a predictable plot ruins much here. This film had loads of potential based on the plot alone. 4 out of 10 bananas in noisy bags. See more bill t @Spuzz 03/25/2014 Though hardly breaking new ground (child prostitution is bad!) this film still was very interesting, as a kid gets sold off by her folks and thrown into a small town brothel. Her attempts at escaping are fruitless, as her Pimp is a ruthless scumbag. There's not a heck of a lot of plot, but the lead character's misfortune, I;' sory to say, is pretty much the reason to stay riveted to this movie. Este filme es denso, melancolico y retrata un sin numero de sucesos con bastante crudeza sin necesidad de ser explicito y eso es un acierto. Muestra la manera tan absurda y sencilla en que una niña de 12 años es iniciada en un mundo de prostitucion, humillaciones y vicios. A favor, buena parte de la musica que la compone. En contra, buena parte de la musica que la compone que NO deberia estar ahi; ademas de una actuacion llena de altibajos (cosas buenas, cosas regulares) por parte de la protagonista.
