Anupama Chopra Hindustan Times Ankhon Dekhi is a delicate and delightful film about invisible people -- those ordinary folk you pass on the street but rarely pay attention to. Writer-director Rajat Kapoor finds beauty and richness in their lives. Jan 9, 2017 Full Review Jimmy Cage Jimmy Cage Movie Reviews (YouTube) ANKHON DEKHI has a really interesting idea for its protagonist, which the movie could have made a little bit more out of, but the nice presentation and great actors make it worth seeing in any case. Rated: 7/10 May 4, 2022 Full Review Shilpa Jamkhandikar Reuters Seema Pahwa [gives] the standout performance in the film. Maya Sarao as Bauji's daughter; Namit Das as the daughter's boyfriend; and Kapoor as Bauji's younger brother, all add to what is a terrific ensemble cast. Jun 6, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Varun P Simple yet very enjoyable Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Audience Member A movie which flows..in its own colour. Never had this much respect for Rajat Kapoor for penning something so beautiful. There's so nuch to learn from the story and then those brilliant (no so loud ) performances are a relish to watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member A piece of great ensemble acting where the leading character still stands out. The story is simultaneously thought provoking and engaging. Most of my thoughts were provoked in the end, when I realized that every incident that happened in the movie, though deep, was easily understandable but it was hard for me to figure out what the movie stands for as a whole. So, instead of considering it a very smart movie because I couldn't understand it, I'll say it tried to make a deep philosophical point but took itself too seriously. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Embellished with impeccable performances, especially by Seema and Sanjay Mishra, Ankhon Dekhi offers a unique premise presented beautifully. There are sub-plots with dead-ends, but the portrayal of characters and lower-middle class milieu is so delightfully authentic that one finds it convenient to overlook the shortcomings. On experiencing a life driven by curiosity and the thirst to discover your hard-earned 'truth', Rajat Kapoor's film is poignant. In the spirit of the film, don't go by my 'Ankhon Dekhi', watch it to believe it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review abhishek s Charming and real. The depiction of the families and their day to day lives is authentic and well observed by Rajat Kapoor and the role of younger brother is also well essayed. Seema Pahwa is outstanding and Sanjay Mishra delivers his best performance. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Masterpiece...A must watch movie from India!!
