divine d It starts too slow is the problem, once they're there for the stakeout it picks up nicely! The writers needed one more story plot to make it really good. Gina (Rosie) and Bill (Emilio) steal the movie. And Dennis Farina is so funny when his character thinks Gina is a nutball and causes himself an ice cream headache by devouring her Penguin ice cream treat in 5 seconds to get away from her. The script needed some work, but the 3 leads did their jobs, and aren't the prob! And OH MY GOODNESS, the whole dinner scene was very funny - whoever wrote that part should have kept that vibe through the whole film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/20/25 Full Review Stephen C The entire cast failed in 1 hour and 49 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/27/25 Full Review Steve D The first was no classic. This is far worse. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Just about passed some time but was considerably worse than the first which was alright. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I actually enjoy this era of Hollywood comedy: angry, annoyed adults yelling insults at each other until they all realize they love each other. It's stupid, but I can't deny it just works for me on a lizard-brain level. I forgot how good the chemistry is between these two guys, and O'Donnell falls right into place with them in the screwball-esque misunderstandings… But, uhhhh….was that a cat's-butthole-cam I saw during the dog chase scene? Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member The worst buddy cop film. A slap in the face to the 1987 classic. Was more of a mockery of the first film.
