Sarah Boslaugh Playback:stl Calm is the prevailing mood in Arctic Son, as if director Andrew Walton wanted to reflect the experience of the Gwich'in lifestyle in his film. Rated: 8/10 Jan 14, 2009 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member The part where they go ice fishing is the most technically interesting of the film, as well as the brief conversations between estranged father and son. Kind of funny in a way that they are able to spend these kinds of hours locked in with one another, away from civilization and still be civil with one another. The main character (the son)-- albeit an annoying city kid-- he adapts quite well to the harsh unknowns of the north. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
