Rated: 4/5 May 22, 2021 Full Review Sean Axmaker Parallax View Welles foregrounds the machinery of moviemaking, reminding us that he's brought a crew with him, and he manipulates his documentary footage as aggressively as he does in his fictional storytelling. Audience Member An interesting series of short documentaries by the legendary Orson Welles, and maybe one of the first travel shows (or not)?? He visits and interviews interesting citizens in Paris, Basque-Spain, Britain, and Madrid in this series. Welles does a great job at making everyday interviews with people of these regions interesting and also humorous. If your looking for some entertainment involving travel in the 1950's then check this series out. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member What I've seen has been very informative and engaging. Speaking of Welles' TV projects: Since "Fountain of Youth" isn't on Flixster, I'll take this opportunity to tell anyone who might read this to find a copy and watch it!! Modern TV drama should bow down in shame. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
