Simon T Donald Sutherland lookalike Joey Skaggs has devoted his life to the prank. This overlong hagiography suggests that Skaggs - a pleasant enough old man - has translated existential disappointment into the pursuit of the trivial. His stunts seem very obvious and unfocused, even if the targets are worthwhile. This is what gives this study in mindfuckery have more heart than say, Yes Men or Improv Everywhere. The time it takes with the subject and the back and forth linearity merge into something almost poignant but definitely entertaining and thought provoking in our age of fake.
