Audience Member If you like B grade Canuxploitation sci-fi and haven't seen this one, then you definitely should. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Atomic Brain Invasion is a creative take on the fun filled romps of the 1950s atomic bomb test sites along with Elvis and space alien cheerleaders. This is pretty much a PG rated film that pokes fun at itself but MORE at the typical characters of the 1950s space creature movies like the Blob. This is an indie film so don't expect to see over the top amazing visual effects BUT, DO know you will be entertained. There are very few movies that have laugh out loud, "I gotta see that again!" moments in them. This one has 'em. Lots of them! Pop the corn and sit back to find out if that Bike repair shop is really what it seems. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a very fun homage to the 50s sci/fi horror genre. A group of teenagers in the 50s are stuck with having to fend off their small town from aliens that take on human form. It's not exactly a body snatchers homage because these aliens make it quite aware that they've taken control. It's through the spine and up to the brain where the creatures then protrude from the head of their victims. Imagine a persons brains and eyes on the outside of their head. No mouth, hair, ears or other ligaments. It was quite effective as a piece of cheesy FX. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Tries really hard to be "so bad it's funny" but comes off feeling like they had more fun making the movie than any audience could have watching it. Still, it has a simplistic charm of its own that makes for an enjoyable viewing experience. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
