I would agree, but only in the Cowen brothers vain of comedy.... exaggerated plot with exaggerated characters. The whole film is just a little off-the-wall. So being a big Coen brothers fan, it's natural that would like this movie. I found the movie compelling, Even if you're not a fan of that type of comedy. You still wanted to find out how this messed up plot with messed up characters gets resolved. The ending was not so predictable, but very satisfying. I almost didn't because of the low RT rating, but decided to watch the first 20 minutes based on the cast. I got sucked in and end up loving this movie. It's fun and crazy! The actors are great. I don't understand why so many critics gave it mediocre reviews. I guess you can't please everyone. See more 09/18/2017 Great movie, I've seen it twice in 2 weeks. Ursula Parker is an actress that can you move your soul; Leanne (Linda Cardellini) is simply an awful, terrible woman and mother but nobody can realize how much terrible she really is, till her daughter will found the truth in the worst way.
