Leslie Felperin Guardian All the nuance is in the grace of the fight scenes, as lovingly choreographed as a production of Swan Lake. Rated: 3/5 Feb 28, 2023 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed Bad City is a solid action film with cop/investigation angle, it brings some new ideas to the table with a solid cast and some well-shot sequences, may they be fights or not. Rated: 4/5 Sep 21, 2023 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews If you can dig a film solely for its choreographed action stunts, you will go bonkers over this messy flick. Rated: B+ Jul 30, 2023 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Plotting is kept fairly simple to leave room for the sprawling fights and some spectacular action set pieces. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 21, 2023 Full Review Chris Ward Flickering Myth A reminder that when it comes to extreme and exquisite violence, Asian cinema is still the standard bearer. Mar 7, 2023 Full Review James Hadfield Japan Times At one point, Torada deploys a police megaphone to impressive effect while beating up a bunch of yakuza goons. That’s typical of the messy and improvisational nature of the film’s fight scenes, which are frequently electrifying to watch. Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 27, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Marc Z Bad City is Another Winning Film From Well Go USA. This gritty Japanese crime and action drama is really really good. Censure Sonumura has really done a good job of Directing the movie and the action in this one. This story plays out more like a Korean crime drama than a Japanese one. Crooked Cops, dynamic personalities, and over the top personalities. The lines between good and bad are very blurred. The movie centers on a Charles Bronson like Police Chief, wrongly jailed to keep him from investigating the Yakuza's connection with the Korean mob. Now he is released through. Special task force to take down that same mob. He has a team of younger Detectives who are really good, including Hydra's Mansori Mamaoto. Some familiar faces from Japanese films like Baby Assassins are here too. I like everything about this- the action, the drama, the acting, and the cinematography. Watch it in Japanese with English Subtitles. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/31/23 Full Review chip a It's entertaining. Nice movie for Friday night. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/07/23 Full Review derek s made me feel tense and nervous lol Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
