Billy Crumpus has never been the confident type. A socially awkward college student with a goofy charm that never quite lands, he hits rock bottom after a humiliating encounter with a group of girls at a party. Seeing their friend spiraling, Billy's ride-or-die duo--Sonny and Dee--decide it's time for drastic measures. Their plan? Take him to the one place that's never let them down: the chair of their favorite barber, the wildly eccentric and possibly deranged Mick. What starts as a simple haircut quickly spirals into a surreal nightmare. As Mick's behavior grows increasingly unhinged, it becomes clear he may be hiding something far more sinister possibly connected to the recent disappearance of a local college girl. Trapped in a barbershop turned battleground, Billy is forced to confront more than just his insecurities. On the worst day of his life, he might finally discover what he's been missing all along. Bad Haircut is a wild, genre-bending thrill ride packed with sharp humor, dark twists, and just the right amount of heart. Whether you're gasping or laughing, one thing's for sure- you won't see what's coming next.

Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment Director/writer Kyle Misak gives Frankie Ray the chance to shine truly. While the movie’s nature suggests something horrific awaits us with him, he still gets to lean into eccentric behavior that is equal parts intimidating and bizarre. Oct 24, 2025 Full Review Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) This zany horror-comedy is the haircut from hell...in a good way. A villain with truckloads of personality goes a long way in a film that never shys away from absurdity. Rated: 3/5 Oct 17, 2025 Full Review Ygraine Hackett-Cantabrana What a Scream Podcast With glimmers of 2007’s Superbad, Bad Haircut is a comedy-horror with a wonderful balance of humour, heart and guts. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 9, 2025 Full Review Stephen Silver The SS Ben Hecht Ray’s performance is wild, taking up most of the oxygen in the room, but he’s an instantly memorable character. Oct 3, 2025 Full Review Tina Kakadelis Beyond the Cinerama Dome Bad Haircut is a John Hughes movie that’s been hacked away at by James Wan, and the result is the sort of haircut people can’t stop asking you about. Oct 2, 2025 Full Review Karina Adelgaard Heaven of Horror The vibe of this genre-hybrid is definitely weird for much of its runtime, but that is exactly what makes it work so well. Okay, and also, Frankie Ray as Mick is a stroke of pure genius. Give me more! Rated: 4/5 Oct 2, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews
