What to Know

Critics Consensus

Loaded up with the same scatological and misanthropic humor as its predecessor but precious little of its heart or genuine wit, Bad Santa 2 presents a foulmouthed shadow of Christmas past.

The thrill of novelty and oddness... may be gone but Billy Bob's reaction shots remain a Christmas miracle, Tony Cox snarls with aplomb and Bates hasn't been so much fun since Adam Sandler was tied to her apron-strings in The Waterboy. Go to Full Review

While the foul language, misanthropic attitude, and cynical performances still come into focus, even squinting might not pick up much in the way of the first film's clever plotting, genuine wit, and sneaky subversive streak running throughout. Go to Full Review

stephen b 4d Occasional funny one-liners isn't enough to make this a Christmas classic. See more Michael W @mawilps Dec 7 This Bad Santa sequel was alright. Billy Bob Thornton, Kathy Bates, Tony Cox, Christina Hendricks, Brett Kelly, Jenny Zigrino, and the rest of the cast did a decent job in this movie. The plot of the movie was kind of humorous and dramatic. It's another heist the Santa team pulls off to rob a charity. If you haven't seen this movie yet, don't waste your time. It's not worth it. See more Faze M. @FazeMelee124 Nov 19 It's to funny just like the original I can't stop laughing I love the 1st and 2nd one See more G R Sep 23 Terrible compared to the original. See more David C. @davidchronic69 Sep 5 has a few laughs and some heartfelt moments toward the end, but it mostly feels like a watered-down repeat of the first movie. Billy Bob Thornton still fits the role, but the sharpness and originality of the original are missing. Funny in spots, but overall disappointing. See more thiago s @Thiagostone Aug 5 Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom See more Read all reviews
