Objectively speaking, it is a well-made film. It seems unlikely that Bollywood frequently produces films of this nature. Nawazuddin Siddiqui's performance, particularly in the climax, is notably impactful. Salman Khan also delivers a solid performance. The music and background score are effective and complement the film well. The first half primarily focuses on establishing the story and characters. The second half carries the emotional and narrative weight of the film. Overall, it is a film that is worth watching. See more Philip S May 14 Shamelessly sentimental, I was urged to watch this by an Indian colleague..watch this and you’ll learn a lot about India and Pakistan. Well it is high Bollywood meets the Sound of Music for sure. Beautifully shot , well cast and it must be said, I learned a lot and perhaps given current tensions are running at a new high in Jamu and Kashmir, perhaps this art imitates life story could be taken to heart and we could all heed these simple lessons.
