Kate G @k8thegreat 5d I don’t know why this movie didn’t get better reviews. It was my all time favorite movie as a child, and rewatching it as an adult brings back great memories! I love the animation and the storyline. It’s a great amount of action, adventure, and heartfelt moments. This movie is also why I became obsessed with the Northern Lights as a kid, and always have been. I do remember it giving me some pretty crazy dreams when I was young, which I personally loved. It’s a great KIDS movie! See more Blake- N @PBSAniDom May 10 Balto II: Wolf Quest is a decent follow-up that continues the story in a different direction while still holding onto the spirit of the original. It doesn’t try to overreach, which helps it stay grounded and easy to watch. The animation is solid for its time, and the pacing is straightforward, making it especially accessible and engaging for younger audiences. It keeps things simple without becoming confusing or overly complicated. The story leans into themes of identity and belonging in a clear, approachable way. While it doesn’t quite match the emotional impact or charm of the first film, it still delivers a meaningful continuation of Balto’s world. Overall, it’s an okay sequel that fans of the original can still enjoy for what it offers, even if it’s a bit more modest in scope and impact. I’d rate it a 6/10. See more Mihailo M @RT21166972 Jun 12 Cartoon is boring, stupid and pointless. This really looks like a Disney cartoon, not a cartoon produced by Universal Studios. Mark Hamill is the only good one here, but he can't compare to his iconic roles: Luke Skywalker, Joker, Fire Lord Ozai and Skips. See more Jonathan O @RT41230270 02/17/2025 This is not a follow up to original Balto and none of the original voice actors returns except Mark Hamill he did really outstanding voice work and my criticism is the story and plot are not great and weird musical scene for no reason and the animation are not perfect and my gawd there's one character I really don't like is Balto's daughter she's so confused and dumb and really wasteful characters who appear small parts and this "sequel" is so short that the ending is shameful. See more Sean G @RT76041854 05/14/2023 I honestly found it enjoyable and Heartwarming See more Read all reviews
