Audience Member Went looking for other reviews after watching this indie flick. There are very few critic or viewer offerings. First up this is a drama, I was expecting a comedic element .. umm nope. Best I could compare it to was an updated version of The Big Chill - Canadian style without a cool soundtrack. A wedding is used as a catalyst to unwrap the individual and collective strain between the characters. Set in a cold, cold winter weekend as only those who live in Canada get. I truly loved that it was unapologetically Canadian and very much Toronto centric - at least from a caucasian POV with a gay and BIPOC character thrown in for authenticity. I wish I liked the main characters more. I would have a drink with Victoria, Taylor and Luke and leave behind the other more self absorbed characters to their dramas.
