05/18/2008 performances by sanjay sure, juhi n jimmy shergill were excellent tbut urmila cant act or cry at all! her cryin makes u want to close ur ears!! n the movie does become vague at times, the concept n storyline was good though. See more 02/09/2008 Although it pales in comparison to the director's previous work (My Brother Nikhil), Bas ek Pal when seen on its own is quite a relief from the run of the mill. The story is well-layered and the director peels off one layer at a time. The whole movie is based on the premise of how one's life can change in a moment and it brings that point home in a sensible manner. Each character has its shades of grey. All the performances are good. However, the scripting could have been tighter and tends to get lethargic sometimes. The music is beautiful and adds depth to the movie at several places (esp. the song "Tere Bin"). Overall, it is a good film which could have been better. See more 01/22/2008 Cried maself to sleep... Horrible acting. Urmila sucked. Waste of time and i will only give this movie one star because of the courage that the producers have shown by investing their money in this crappy movie.
