In the Gotham City of the future, an older Bruce Wayne (Kevin Conroy) trains a college student, Terry McGinnis (Will Friedle), to replace him as Batman. Meanwhile, the Joker (Mark Hamill) has re-emerged as the leader of the Jokerz, a gang inspired by their evil hero, who was previously thought to be dead. Terry tries to stop the theft of communications gear by the Jokerz, but the Joker narrowly escapes. The truth about the Joker's life and death slowly emerges through violent confrontations.

Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are a perfect team as the retired Batman and Joker respectively as Will Friedle as the new generation Batman I also like the mix with the original Batman the animated series and The New Batman Adventures

This was a pretty solid movie while I’ve watched every single Batman solo thing of the dcau (outside of the beyond series itself) this makes me want to go and watch the show because of how good it was and how the story is overall

Classic, with a very shocking, but developed story for its target audience. The old 2000s animation style brings me nostalgia from watching movies like this as a child, despite being low quality.

Synopsis
