Brian Lowry CNN.com A more natural fit than most recent forays into interactivity. That's not to say Batman: Death in the Family isn't a gimmick too, but at least it's a fun, inventive one -- and a pretty clever way to kill time on a long, dark night. Oct 13, 2020 Full Review Jonathan Garcia Dynamic Duel Podcast Allowing new fans to experience, in some way, the same decision [comic] fans in the 80s had about whether Jason lives or dies through this popular film was, I think, a genius move and a great, creative way to take advantage of current technology. Rated: 3/5 Jan 23, 2023 Full Review Lindsay Traves CGMagazine It does a great job of dragging you into the story, making you feel culpable for certain outcomes and experiencing "monkey's paw" regret. Rated: 8/10 Feb 24, 2021 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media Violence in interactive noir story and other animated shorts Rated: 3/5 Nov 18, 2020 Full Review Rafael Motamayor Polygon There are some visually stunning action scenes in the alternate scenes... The problem is the half-baked execution, where an interactive story amounts to little more than a half-hour short film comprised of mostly recycled footage. Noam K Hmmm.... This is 99% recycling of scenes from 2010 "Under the red Hood" with boring exposition by Batman and Superman discussing the events of "Under the red hood", exposition mind you, that was not needed, because "Under the red Hood" was great and coherent. This is less than a rip off as there are no new scenes, other than Batman and Superman sitting at a cafe. Very weird and pointless movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/18/24 Full Review Rosemary W You have to be a true Batman fan to really enjoy this movie, which I am! Loved the story the voice acting and the artwork. I've seen it more than 10 times and like it more each time. Now if you enjoy reading comics than your on a higher level so whatever you think of this movie is accurate🙃 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/11/24 Full Review Benjamin S I didn't like this movie, in that I didn't to the comic for Under The Red Hood justice at all Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Familiar story in terms of DC content, combined with decent execution. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Não faz jus ao quadrinho, mas vale a pena assistir. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member The recap section of the Red Hood from a new perspective was really cool. Aside from that, I didn’t care about any of the other anthology stories. It was just a waste of time. Not sure why this was made exactly Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/22 Full Review Read all reviews
