Mat Brunet AniMat's Review (YouTube) This is a movie that’s meant to show off a cool crossover with a lot of action. It knows what it wants to be, and does exactly that. Nothing more. Rated: 6/10 Oct 25, 2024 Full Review Joe Lipsett Horror Queers Podcast A mix of animation styles complements the cross-over between Batman's Gotham and TMNT's NY. The film adaptation has a better handle on its action/comedy combo than its comic source, although the film does feel like it has two climaxes Rated: 3/5 Feb 11, 2023 Full Review Doug Walker Channel Awesome While I can't say it takes itself seriously, it takes itself at the exact appropriate tone. I had a ball! Rated: 3/4 Jul 2, 2020 Full Review Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Nonstop fierce cartoon action with humor in crossover movie. Rated: 3/5 Jun 18, 2019 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files Between the action, humor and the willingness to truly embrace the spirit of this unique crossover, it's a lot of fun in spite of the oddly timed and questionable gore. Anderson O An incredible Team-up wasn’t expecting much of. I very much underrated this movie. It’s one of the greatest animated crossovers and amoung the great ninja turtles animated movies to date at the time of its release 5 years ago. And Villians don’t disappoint either in the team up of Ra’s Al Gil and Shredder. Incredible action and animated fight match ups with Batman ninja Turtles and Villians. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review Victor O As a kid, I have always enjoyed watching either Saturday Morning or Weekday Afternoon cartoons of some of my favorite characters. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Batman were always great shows and as I;ve gotten older I've seen them continue to grow as I did. But the idea that they could combine them was something you see in comics but never on the big screen. So this collaboration was a dream come true. Gotham City is being plagued by a series of robberies committed by a group of ninjas with the symbol of the Foot Clan. Batman, Batgirl, and Robin work to find out who they are and why they are doing these thefts when the Foot Clan's enemies, Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Raphael respond as well. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles step into Gotham City and confront its heroes only to let them in on the truth that their foe has made a partnership with Batman's enemy, the League of Assassins in exchange for power to their Foot Clan's leader, the Shredder by building a powerful device that will destroy Gotham. This was a dream come true. Seeing the personalities of all the heroes and villains involved, the epic confrontations, and the combinations of so many events made this a great viewing, even better than I had hoped. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/22/24 Full Review Juan R EXCELENTE entrega, muy buena historia, excelente acople de ambas series, un verdadero homenaje a ambas series. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/06/24 Full Review Dan R One of the oddest additions to DC's animated universe is 'Batman Vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'. SYNOPSIS: 'Batman, Batgirl and Robin forge an alliance with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to fight against the Turtles' sworn enemy, The Shredder, who has teamed up with Ra's Al Ghul and The League Of Assassins.' This probably could've been something really interesting but it ended up just being a real mess. It's certainly a film which didn't need to be anywhere near it's 90min run time. There's a real weird mix of animation styles going on here, and I appreciate it's to do with the crossover of the IPs, but the Turtles have never looked this bad before. They're terrible! Almost unrecognisable. However, this is a nonstop animated action film which is full of humour. It just fails to meet the heights of what DC has delivered in recent years. 5/10 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review Michael M A perfect blend of two similar but vastly different worlds. The standout performance here is Kyle Mooney as Michelangelo! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review matthias s "Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is a fun and visually impressive crossover that fans of both franchises will enjoy. The animation is top-notch and the voice acting is solid, bringing the iconic characters to life. The story is well-written, with the turtles' comedic antics balancing out the darker tones of Batman's world. The action scenes are well-choreographed and exciting. However, the film does lack a bit of depth in its villain. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
