"Beast of Burden" places a number of burdens on the audience, almost none of which are worth enduring. Go to Full Review

The film's flashbacks, which are either too clipped or excessively scored, effectively step on the actors' toes. Go to Full Review

Strapping us into the cockpit of a single-engine plane beside pilot Daniel Radcliffe, this high-concept low-budget thriller tries to do in the air what Tom Hardy's 2013 road movie Locke did on the ground. Go to Full Review

A single worthy performance is held back by a substandard script, narrative structure, and just about everything else. Daniel Radcliffe is very good. The film itself, not so much. Go to Full Review

Captain M Apr 14 One of the most painfully boring, badly edited, and laborious movies I have ever had the displeasure to watch. By the time the movie draws on its final half hour, You're hoping everyone in the movie dies because there's no one in the movie worth rooting for but the predator drone. See more Wade W 04/16/2023 This movie was so boring. Most of the movie was him sitting in a plane talking on a cell phone to various people. Don't watch it. See more samuel l 10/10/2021 In a word: dreadful. A completely implausible plot, no tension, suspense, or thrill and therefore poor pacing, a ridiculous number of phone calls, unconvincing acting, undeveloped, generic characters, constant short flashbacks, budget CGI, blatantly fake sets/props, overly dark visuals, leading to horrible compression on streaming services, and a silly, booming soundtrack that was laughably inappropriate make this a film to avoid. It's basically a badly made mix of Locke and American Made, with no redeeming qualities. See more 10/20/2019 Very slow. Only picked up in the last few minutes. See more 06/17/2019 Its almost as if critics are so afraid to say a single bad thing about Daniel Radcliffe, that after Harry Potter it's almost always how the movie let him down, or how even his great acting could not save a bad movie. Let's be frank, everything was bad here. See more Read all reviews
