Noe G Bebes kids is my number one best animated film from 1992 I give this movie a 10/10 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/06/24 Full Review Tiffany L The comedy in this is so good, a lot funnier as an adult, but still funny for the whole family, always a classic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/13/23 Full Review Mr.CoCoNuts Great funny movie with yes some nostalgia in it for people who grew up with it yet it has cult classic written all over it and believe it or not ahead of its time. Some who dont like or seem to go "Meh" might not get some of the jokes like where the kids cant find their name on Lience plates even though the female character knew fours kids like hers which predates the "A A Ron" joke. Some wont like or understand more urban or black jokes and the Hip Hop element was back than and even now may cause some eye rolling yet this was just before Nickelodeon shows like "All That" or Keenan And Kell which had some of this same elements tha Black and Hispanic grew up on or understood. Really is a good movie and some jokes are old fashioned like" I'm not fat I'm pleasantly plump" is as old as it is yet this movie is old. Not a classic with all the Disney Sing Along Movies(which if Twitter existed fans would say theirs too many of those like fans who complain about Superhero Movies). Enjoy and have fun. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/06/23 Full Review M C Awful. Couldn't understand how this is appropriate for children. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/23/23 Full Review Covay F Movie is funny asf !! My favorite childhood adult animated movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/13/22 Full Review shelby m A fun movie that still has powerful messages about issues in our society. Also, great "yo-mama" jokes. Joseph McBride Variety Blended with broad sight gags is a pointed message about the resentment of latchkey kids who, echoing Aretha Franklin, proclaim that they don't get any "R-E-S-P-E-C-T." Mar 27, 2009 Full Review Nell Minow Movie Mom Rated: 2/5 Jun 26, 2003 Full Review Marjorie Baumgarten Austin Chronicle Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Jason Shawhan Nashville Scene Packed to the gills with black comedic talent (legends like Myra J., Nell Carter, John Witherspoon, George Wallace, Reynaldo Rey and Chino Williams) and capable of inspiring political action... Sep 10, 2021 Full Review Malcolm Johnson Hartford Courant The hip, and hiphop, Bebe's Kids is circuslike at times, but it's a dubious family picture and not really an unalloyed delight for adults either. May 3, 2018 Full Review Brian Orndorf BrianOrndorf.com Rough around the edges and careless with plot, but Bebe's Kids maintains personality throughout, doing justice to the memory of Harris and his most unusual stand-up creation.
