Steve D 04/03/2023 Baxter can play this stuff in her sleep but always gives it her all. See more 05/22/2013 Minor film with nice location work. Leisen was an erratic director able to turn out wonderful films like The Mating Season and Hold Back the Dawn but also flat films like this. Forrest is awful but Anne Baxter tries to breath some life into what really isn't much of a part. See more 12/24/2012 A tragic tale of battered women syndrome, friendship, and the bystander effect. While watching I kept thinking "What's it gonna take to make this lady snap? Where's the justice?" Then, when it happens... there's the justice. And it's sweet. A top-notch Korean thriller in the rarefied league of Moss. Whoever made this film should be arrested for crimes against film making. There's nothing but infantile cliches piled up pretending to be character development. There's no acting, just people playing stupid. Nothing is the least bit believable, or stomach-able, at the suspension of disbelief level. There is no evil in this film just assholes. There are a few good kills and lots of messy blood at the end but I suggest fast-forwarding to get to them. There is nothing worthwhile at all to learn or enjoy before them. This film doesn't push buttons by pushing any ethical envelopes. It's just low-rent, poorly done, unimaginative, middle-school-dropout-level acting and scripting. See more Read all reviews
