Up to that point, however, fans of comic-like violence, who focus mostly on entertainment without any particular need for logic and (deep) comments, will find a lot to like here, with “Believer 2” definitely being a fun film.

Believer 2 extends the lives of a few characters from the first film, but adds nothing to their journeys through the empty landscapes and successive flare-ups of bloodshed that ultimately lead them back together.

Like its predecessor, the film offers plenty of gratuitous violence while adding layers and twists to its story. The fight scenes look perfectly choreographed and there’s enough gore included to make the most hardened horror fans squirm.

A solid follow-up to the original that took a unique approach for a sequel. Rather than just extended the story from the first film, this movie fills in a part of the original that was left unexplained. In the end, I think this sequel makes the original even better.

A pretty good continuation of the Korean Crime drama about a cop searching for the killer of one of his informants that leads him to obsess over capturing the infamous "Mr. Lee". The film has good action and the search for the elusive drug kingpin is expanded in this feature. The acting and Direction are good. The characters are interesting. I don't love the actor that replaced the original "Mr. Lee" from the prior film, but that is not enough to detract from my enjoyment of this highly charged action drama. Best in Korean, with English subtitles.
