Ready Steady Cut

Like its predecessor, the film offers plenty of gratuitous violence while adding layers and twists to its story. The fight scenes look perfectly choreographed and there’s enough gore included to make the most hardened horror fans squirm.

Big fan of the first movie and was looking forward to seeing this. Unfortunately, looks like the director and screenwriter didn't watch that movie. Can see why Ryu Jun-yeol opted out of this film. A mediocre film at best but a terrible sequel to a great movie. Awful screenplay and directing as a sequel. Oh Seung-hoon as Seo Young-rak was difficult to watch. Huge disappointment.

A pretty good continuation of the Korean Crime drama about a cop searching for the killer of one of his informants that leads him to obsess over capturing the infamous "Mr. Lee". The film has good action and the search for the elusive drug kingpin is expanded in this feature. The acting and Direction are good. The characters are interesting. I don't love the actor that replaced the original "Mr. Lee" from the prior film, but that is not enough to detract from my enjoyment of this highly charged action drama. Best in Korean, with English subtitles.
