joseph g Diadic double-antagonists animate an intensive series of "coup de scenes" through their risky day-by-day criminal underworld adventures, all based on the metropolis scenery of a modern Arabic country. Director Neel Kuman permits good-ending after a final rush-up "match" between the two deuter-antagonists-only appearently friends. Until Somalia-native one ( of the two men) is able to return to his homeland town ( Mogadiscio), to cure his Mam'. Last scenes are realized on an Ethihad jet before leaving on which also an allegoric female character is featured. Extremely detailed thriller across narration of cross-over of stories of the two men and uninterruptedly commented by a prompt modern electronic soundtrack- (Mario-Giuseppe Genesi). Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I saw it. I think Abdi was wonderful. You could feel his isolation in a strange world of money where he had nothing. It's an interesting study of human nature and honor being traded out for desperation. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Very slow and not really entertaining Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/22 Full Review Audience Member Abdi does well warring between paying his mother's hospital bills and struggling with material wants as an immigrant in Dubai. But the plot doesn't give him a chance to grip you... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member It is similar to The White Tiger except that it is much better well written, more realistic, and with a more positive message. Without going into spoilers, I just like to point out a lot of the film is symbolism. If you just take everything for what is shown, it is a straight up story. But when you look at the meaning of the characters, you'll realize this whole story is about a person's inner struggle between right and wrong.
