You feel his genuine kindness being strained and how much pressure he's got on his shoulders as he's trying to get clear of the gheto life. You sense his will to escape the dealing business and his crave for a better life. His descent into hell serves as an exemple and aims to deliver a positive message. The cast is without flaws. The story is strong. It's an important drama. See more 04/15/2020 Better Than Love was a really well shot, well acted and well executed Indie thriller about the dangers of opioid addiction. It's a dark movie (as would be expected given that description), and crafted in a real and impactful manner. Good, engaging stuff! See more 11/27/2019 Better Than Love had some of the best production value I've seen for a smaller indie film. Really solid. Good acting. Takes a personal look at the opiod crisis from every angle. Also has an interesting feel because of its Seattle locations. The U.S. is in the middle of such a terrible pandemic of overdoses, and it's good to see these filmmakers shining a light on it.
