Michael W This TV movie was great. Angela Bassett, Mary J. Blige, Malik Yoba, Lindsay Owen Pierre, Ruby Dee, and the rest of the cast did a great job in this movie. This true story about the wives of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X carrying on their husbands legacy after their deaths was dramatic and inspirational. It's about fighting for equality and to never back down no matter what circumstances will come later. If you haven't seen this TV movie yet, check it out sometime. It's worth watching. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/24/23 Full Review Audience Member It might be a lifetime movie... but it had me at Angela Bassett! "In helping others, we do help ourselves" --Coretta Scott King in Betty and Coretta Love this movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member The dialogue is stiff, and full of exposition. The two women's stories in one film felt forced. Angela Bassett was great, as always, but Mary J. Blige didn't seem believable in her role. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member For a Tv movie its very good Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member This was an exciting story about the wives of two very powerful men. I would recommend this movie for any interested in American history during the Civil Rights movement.
