Love this movie. I think this is the best of the trilogy. Beverly Hills Cop 2 is Tony Scott's first good movie, and one of his best. Great action sequences and even funnier moments than the first. Great sequel.

Beverly Hills Cop II is as if a bunch of teenagers got a Hollywood budget and decided to make a movie. From the dialogue to the story to the action, everything just feels so juvenile. It seems like everyone had a script to stick to except for Eddie Murphy. He just kind of says and does anything he wants, and everyone tells him it's great. But it wasn't great. And, frankly, the cops in this movie are some of the worst I've ever seen. Axel Foley, Billy Rosewood, and John Taggart should have been fired a long time ago. This movie has some amusing moments, but overall, it's a sloppy rehash of the original.

What movie did the critics watch? Because this movie was on-par or better than the first one. Even the audience score of this movie is pathetic, and reading their comments you realize they have no clue about what they are talking about. This movie is great, one of Eddies last great ones he did!
