Lucas t Such a bland sequel to a film that I've loved since I was a child. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/18/24 Full Review Killian M A poor follow up failing to either deliver on scares or cheesiness, it plays it so strange and it doesn't land whatsoever. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/12/24 Full Review Steve D The original was bad, this is worse. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/01/23 Full Review Audience Member This is undoubtedly one of the worst films I've ever seen. Being a fan of the original and remake I just had to check this out even though I never heard anyone really talk about it. The plot if you could consider it one has some of the blob defrost and start wreaking havoc on a town. The movie is sloppily put together and I read on wikipedia that most of the scenes were improvised. It's truly sad that made hardly any effort to update the material or add anything to what could have been a very lucrative franchise. This is most likely one of the big reasons not many showed up for the Superior 88 version. The special FX are dismal from red plastic paper made to look like the creature to close ups of jam and shadow effects. I would say it's entertaining in a guilty pleasure sort of way but honestly it's just hot cinematic garbage. 1/10 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review delysid d So many great movies came out in 72, but this movie makes a mockery of the great Blob Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/03/19 Full Review Audience Member I think the other reviewers are on drugs. The sound track is off more than a Godzilla film, which was so distracting that I couldn't get past the awful acting. I can't believe that this is considered ggs sequel to The Blob, which was actually really great for its time & genre. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews
