Movie star Jack Wyatt (Will Ferrell) has hit a rough patch in his career. Looking to make a comeback, he signs on to play the role of Darrin in a movie version of the popular 1960s sitcom "Bewitched." Jack insists that an unknown is hired to play Darrin's better half, the beguiling witch-housewife Samantha, so the studio finds an up-and-comer named Isabel Bigelow (Nicole Kidman). Once shooting begins, though, Jack learns that Isabel was cast too well -- since she actually is a witch.

What is it with one Will Ferrell film after another...with the exemption of The Wedding Crashers...which wasn't even his film. Real dross. Which is sad. He's a terribly intelligent man. He can act. Why this nonsense.

Wretched is more apt. Sweep this one off your list. If you're considering watching, twitch your nose and hopefully some better flick will come to mind. Or the TV show will come on your screen.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

I'm not sure what these other reviewers were expecting from this film, a classic? A masterpiece of cinema? It's a silly little film paying homage to an old, beloved, niche sitcom. Sure, Kidman's character starts out as a naive, breathless, quirky sidekick, but soon gets into the groove of it all. Not a film to be taken seriously, but definitely a fun little watch, especially years after it was made, and getting to see these well established actors in some early roles that they'd rather forget. Some people need to lighten up lol.
