NONBELIEVER DINNER PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/03/23 Full Review Audience Member There are worse anthologies out there, but there are so many that are better. However, Beyond the Limits does offer something interesting....a tonne of gore and blood, along with a cohesive storyline relating the stories together. Beyond the Limits is bad. make no mistake. The acting is simply horrendous, but it is a fun movie to watch, and the stories are quite good, and relate nicely. I did enjoy it, but it isn't for everyone. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member If you like ultra gore fest then this is the film for you. I mean the film does have distinguish look unlike most other films, the acting is terrifyingly bad, but the actors were all quite good looking. The lesson we learnt from the film is that Germans shouldn't try to speak English. Before I watched this film, I thought Final Destination and Saw were creative, but this film is even better. Despite the low budget, it managed to used every bit of it quite well. I did enjoy the anthology like story telling, quite interesting. it's an entertaining film nonetheless, just enjoy the gore and ignore the acting. (on a side note, I like the costumes, especially Simon Newby's leather suit) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member If you want to see lots of undeserving people get their heads caved in by sadists and wackos, this is your first port of call. The first story is the best, with all of its splutter into your tea laughs, mainly to do with German badasses swearing at each other in English. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member A sadistic fucked up torture-fest. Films begins like Tommy Wiseau's "The Room". Corny acting, bad cinematography, and editing so bad, you never see anything like it (flashy/blurry distracting titles with sound effects masking important dialog). But after the horrible opening, the story kicks in. Something about the heart of a medieval knight is being used as collateral for cocaine... anyways, a blood bath ensues and everyone dies horrible death. Olaf Ittenbach lets bodies literally explode with extreme gore. No one is killed softly, this is as hardcore as a splatter movie can get. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Not bad, definately not for the faint hearted, packed full of gore, actings bit questionable in parts.
