Carlos N Wow, talk about culture shock. Storyline unexpected and I was glad it had a happy ending. I expected the family would shoot Mike. Really, it seems all movies like this end in the worst ways. This isn't an Oscar winner but it was visually arresting in Turkey and psychologically poignant in its treatment of bias in the Turkish community. At the same time, it was like any other family, wanting the best for their son, their only son. I think most parents just don't have all the facts to make the right decisions and then regret what they did once they understand their child's happiness is at stake. It was formulaic perhaps, but well done. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review Alex B Compelling story with a dash of Turkish/German flavor thrown in to a Swiss locale. Overall, a good story with a compelling twist. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review thomas f Fantastic movie and definitely worth a watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/12/22 Full Review Audience Member It was great! I recommend you watch it in a free time i dont think it will disappoint you in any way other than the end. The end might feel a little not enough of a happy ending because everything worked out nicely but it was kinda left in a place where you yourself think about what can come next. Watch it!
