As long as you know what type of ride this is supposed to be, it's and absolute master piece of cheesy action comedy. Russell is fantastic with his John Wayne impersonation as he delivers fantastic classic lines...you just look that big ole storm right square in the eye and say gimme your best shot pal, I can take it... Unbelievable that Jack Burton is also Snake Plisske.

While not on the level of classics like Animal House or Ferris Bueller's Day Off, I thought this was a genuinely hilarious movie that doesn't fall into the more recent crass=funny comedy trap, but relies much more on the awesome cast's performances and intertwining plot points to build scenes and interactions you'll remember fondly years later (Gator fans). Plus, it has an angelic Sofia Vergara years before she became a household name.

With such a recognizable cast, I was expecting more from Big Trouble. Unfortunately, there were too many plot points and too many characters for my liking. The film reminded me of Rat Race but without the interesting premise. Manic and frantic, the pacing on this movie was all over the place. There were a few scattered laughs, but for the most part the jokes fell flat. Additional Comment: Seeing Stanley Tucci stuff Sofia Vergara's toes in his mouth was one of the most unique cinematic experiences that I have ever had!

Didn't dig this one. Couldn't finish it. Got half way into it and still didn't like it so I turned it off. Lots of amazing talent here but just a strange, convoluted and pointless story. Oh he shot the TV again...ha ha... no sorry not funny.
