lavielemond I'm an Aussie & I like to consider myself a mega-fan of comedy (particularly stand-up), although I definitely prefer a phenomenal number of British comedians to the vast majority of US comedians (apart from Dave Chappelle, Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Kevin Hart, Chris Rock, Bill Burr - pre-marriage, Roseanne Barr & Patrice O'Neal, off the top of my head). But this show was BEYOND WOEFULLY BAD & I can't think of even one redeeming feature that I can mention to end this on a high, sadly! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Paul D Weak ... Very weak... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/04/23 Full Review J D Love Bill, most of the comedians were annoying and horrible. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/13/23 Full Review Captain C I love Bill...but what was going through his head here? I really really want to know what the back story of this was...are they trolling us? How did this make it past post-production? Is this a tax write-off? Is this a contractual obligation? I've never been so disapointed at a comedian. I watched this the first day out before the reviews were in and I was psyched. At first there's a sense of disappointment that none of the jokes are landing, then it just goes downhill from there. The final 15-20 minutes are a train wreck--the most unfunny, unentertaining cringe I've ever seen. I was just looking at the screen saying "Huh?". Avoid. Avoid at all costs, it's not even so bad it's good bad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/03/23 Full Review alley n The "jokes" weren't that funny and I don't know what was up with the band?? This is the least I've laughed in a comedy show.... Not recommended to watch. Cleaning the kitchen brought me more joy than this show... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review M R The only comedians that were good are Bill (obviously), Jeff Ross, Dave Attell and Josh Adam Meyers. It was the hardest thing to watch. I was hoping it got better. It has to be the biggest let down of bill burr's entire career. Bill attached his name to the entire show, which unfortunately means he approved the horrific line up with the few exceptions. Maybe just maybe Bill had no say in the line up. If so, why why? Why would you put your career on the line. How can Netflix associate Bill with some of those "comedians". Honestly is Bill being punished for something. I am no comedian but damn that was awful. Poulomi Das Firstpost I’d argue that the point of comedy isn’t to play polite, rather it is to plumbs the depths of the human condition as long as a punchline can emerge from it. The problem rather is the fact that every single second of his set is horribly second-rate. Jun 10, 2022 Full Review Sean L. McCarthy Decider Wolf delivered the strongest set. But there’s a downside of having your best performers go up early, because then the remaining 45 minutes begin to drag by comparison. Jun 8, 2022 Full Review Ricky Valero Ready Steady Cut Overall, the good can’t outweigh the truly bad parts of this special. Rated: 1.5/5 Jun 6, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
