Audience Member OK, this is possibly the fourteen millionth low budget zombie movie, and while it really can't be described with any accuracy as "good", much like THE STINK OF FLESH, there is something about it that makes it a bit more fun to watch than most such films. Again, as with STINK, I can't really put my finger on what it was that made BIOHAZARDOUS that all important little bit better, but I've watched it twice now and both times enjoyed it enough that I didn't feel the urge to throw the DVD in the trash (as I sometimes do...) About on par with THE DEAD NEXT DOOR, as well. And light years better than SHATTER DEAD and/or ZOMBIE BLOODBATH. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Wow, bad. Bad acting, bad story, bad everything. But that's ok with a zombie flick. Unfortunately it still couldn't survive even with a zombie fan. And the director name shout-outs are very poorly thrown in and blatant. News reporter George Romero? Director Fulci... c'mon. It's humorous in some movies when they do it but they just try too hard in this film. It's nice to see the overly religious get what comes to them when they mess with the law in the sake of religion as is the case in most of these types of movies but overall nothing here at all. Indy horror just isn't the same as it used to be. They used to be piss poor fun, now they are just piss poor terrible. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member One of my fave indy zombie movie. Of course when we talk about zombie we aint talking about original plot but who cares about the plot, we wanna see zombies munching on stupid victims walking right in our beloved living dead path! The acting although most of the time poor isnt really important here as the movie has a good structure/editing. Plenty fo gore for us gorehounds to enjoy varying from convincing to low-budget ones! A villain we learn to hate (the doctor), a superzombie eating-anything-including-other-zombies machine, blood, gore and a cast and crew who had fun doing this project! If u like independant horror then go for it! For ppl who love movies done by label like Subrosa , Troma, etc... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member The plot was hardly original, the acting was laughable, the characters never developed, the cinematography was awful, the special effects were misused and/or overdone, and flubs were rampant. Overall, the film would have had better success had it been labeled as a horror-comedy. However, I do believe it is cult-classic material due to such low production values and obvious ridicule-worthy elements. It's the "Plan 9 From Outer Space" of zombie movies and I suppose it deserves at least that much recognition. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
