Michael O'Sullivan Washington Post Tamarkin's point is clear: Women would do well to know their history before the future makes them regret it. Rated: 2.5/4 Sep 21, 2017 Full Review Sheri Linden Los Angeles Times At first the doc feels like a recap as argument, unlikely to galvanize anyone. But through its haunting firsthand accounts, it becomes a wake-up call for people on both sides of the argument. Jul 27, 2017 Full Review John DeFore The Hollywood Reporter Illuminating and enraging but marred by heavy-handed aesthetics. Jul 17, 2017 Full Review Leslie Combemale Cinema Siren Based on information in the film, it is very much needed. Rated: 3/5 Oct 18, 2019 Full Review Tricia Olszewski Washington City Paper Birthright: A War Story,... is not just about the abortion fight. Sep 21, 2017 Full Review MaryAnn Johanson Flick Filosopher An enraging, essential documentary rundown of all the ways that women's rights, agency, and bodily autonomy are under attack in the US. It's not just about abortion. Rated: 4/5 Jul 21, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member But for the plodding pace, this might be the best pro-life movie ever made. It does an excellent job on exploring which pro-life tactics have been effective and outlines the pro-abortion tactics and wider agenda, such as their assault on catholic hospitals. I strongly recommend anyone involved in pro-life activism to see this movie, but not in one go. It drags. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member This was quite frankly... the worst liberal garbage propaganda I've seen in a while. Hulu delete your account Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent hard-hitting. Provides an in-depth look at current issues regarding the rights of women related to reproduction. While it addresses pro-choice, it also looks at the wider issues of women's rights to control their bodies across a full spectrum of reproductive issues. Brings to light the impact of both legislation, as well as the move from public to religiously owned hospital systems. Highly recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Just to balance the misogynist trolls.
