Frances H This film's heart is in the right place, but the script is predictable and plodding, especially compared to something like Hell On Wheels today. But it does show how far society has matured. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/19/14 Full Review Audience Member Pleasantly surprising and entertaining throughout, this telemovie's greatest strength is in its casting: Christopher Reeve and Tony Todd are effective as best friends and "brothers", Nancy Sorel and (particularly) Janet Bailey are convincing as their wives, and the handsome Raoul Trujillo is very good as the bilingual Indian who helps in the trade. Followed by 'Black Fox: The Price of Peace' (1995) and 'Black Fox: Good Men and Bad' (1995). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Nothing too complicated about this one, just a good western drama featuring Tony Todd's best work. Can't wait to see the two sequels.
