Audience Member Apparently, after the original crew fell through due to budgetary problems and when faced with less than an hour of footage after filming every page of the script, producer Laurence Joachim—who also provides a lot of the truly terrible ADR—asked his preteen son, Marco, for story ideas. "Well, I was just watching THUNDERBALL, and OO7 had a jetpack in that." Cue Jim Kelly on a jetpack for no discernible reason. Cannonical scale: 5/5 — Drink every time the obviously dubbed dialog doesn't line up with an actor's lips, and you'd be deader than all the random dwarves that show up (and swing in) out of nowhere. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review delysid d this movie kicks ass Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/30/18 Full Review Audience Member A bizarre cult have kidnapped the girlfriend of secret agent Jim kelly. Using all his martial arts skill and unique gadgets (I think Q's job is safe) he sets of for Haithi to rescue her. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Dwarfs, and jet-packs, and vultures! Oh my! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member This is so bad that I actually enjoyed it more than Black Belt Jones, which had the much higher budget clearly. How can you not be entertained by a movie with Satanic cults, midgets (a lot of midgets) and tons of fake blood, plus Jim Kelly's kick ass Afro/mutton chops? I've never seen a movie with worse acting in my life. Movies where people try to simulate bad acting do not come close to the wooden scenes these people put together. It's special in a bad good way. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member It's not brilliant, but Jim Kelly fights midgets and a vulture... sooo... 2.5 stars.
