Jordan Mintzer Hollywood Reporter A compelling, if over-the-top, French noir. Jul 23, 2018 Full Review Jason Adams The Film Experience a real effortfully cool 70s vibe Jan 14, 2022 Full Review Yasser Medina Cinefilia There are many empty, irregular, distracting scenes that I feel are too much for the detective to solve a case that, after all, crosses the most common terrains of the genre. The cast does amazing work and bounces of each other perfectly for a result that is both sad and a bit uncomfortable. David G This thriller keeps the viewer on edge throughout the film and delivers an ending which is haunting and disturbing. The performances are top notch. Vincent Cassel in an impressive role as an alcoholic French version of Columbo, disheveled raincoat and all. If this was in real life, Cassel would be thrown off the police force and get arrested in the process. Powerful dramatic performances by Sandrine Kiberlain and Jérôme Pouly as the missing boy's parents. Romain Duris' character is as bizarre as you can get. Not a fun film by any means but a powerful screenplay and stellar cast performance make this worth seeing. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/12/22 Full Review Audience Member "Fleuve Noir" is a dark thriller where Vincent Cassel, Romain Duris and Sandrine Kiberlin perform greatly. It has a very intriguing story with a good soundtrack and an interesting ending. Overall a great suspense from beginning to end and recommended to see.
