Critics Consensus

A beautifully composed drama whose narrative intricacy is matched by its depth, Blind sounds an ambitious note of triumph for writer-director Eskil Vogt.

It's a fascinating exploration of the things that can thrive in the soil of a jealous mind, fertilized by suspicion and a lack of sight. Go to Full Review

While the film's mischievous narrative manipulation will inevitably irk some viewers, this beautifully rendered opportunity to view the world through the eyes of those who can no longer see is a moving portrayal of living with an ocular condition. Go to Full Review

Jed I 05/02/2023 5.0/10 — "Poor"/"Inferior"/"Amateurish" See more 07/30/2022 This is really fine work by first time (full-length feature) director Eskil Vogt, known mainly as a screenwriter. Vogt has written/co-written each of Joachim Trier's full-length films. Ellen Dorrit Petersen, Henrik Rafaelsen, Vera Vitali, and Marius Kolbenstvedt are terrific as the four principal characters. Jessica Kiang wrote a very sharp, insightful review of the movie on Indiewire.com. 3.8 stars See more júlio a 08/10/2020 Um daqueles filmes pra ver mais de uma vez pra ver se você entendeu direito. Muito bonito a escritora cega! See more 05/10/2020 Aslında her şey, genetik bir hastalıktan ötürü bir anda görme yetisini kaybeden, yazar olan Ingrid'in yaratıcı beyin egzersizi. See more 07/16/2017 Very easy movie & Alec, Demi, and Dylan were all great!! Really enjoyed it - was worried after reading Washington post - but did not need the naked scenes to understand what was going on!! For me it was a really enjoyable movie ! See more 11/08/2016 Narratively playful psychosexual fantasy - goes a bit silly for my taste, but an interesting watch. See more Read all reviews
