nick s Not a bad movie, save the last five minutes when the director was ordered to wrap it up pronto. That last scene was not only an awful copout but completely out of character for the protagonist. Shame, because I enjoyed watching the lead actress and most of the supporting cast. The story also had a lot of promise. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/13/24 Full Review Audience Member Blonde Ice (free on tubi) is a 1948 film noir gem which still holds up fairly well. The costumes really stand out and all the hallmarks of noir are present (from blinds, to shadows, to female fatales). 3 stars out of 5. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review deke p Loved it. Yeh, it was a 'B' film noir, but as others sd: it was a 'CLASSIC' noir. And the star, LESLIE BROOKS, was Gorgeous as the killer newspaper writer. But I couldn't find any reason why this 1948 film was the second to last movie of her career. Cuz in 1950 she got married for the next 51 years. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review william k Watchable crime drama with a touch of film noir and a good female lead; however, her motivations remain vague, and the psychoanalytical mumbo-jumbo at the ending explaining it all is annoying. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member sO THIS STARTED OUT AS INTERESTING...BUT ENDED UP BEING JUST AVERAGE. a SHAME, THERE WAS POTENTIAL IN THIS THAT IT NEVER REALLY MET Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Obscure "B" Film Noir About Cold-Blooded Femme Fatal--Femme Fatale on overdrive!!
