See more Eduardo C Jun 19 This a pretty cool indie film. The killer is layered and sympathetic while still being a total monster. The detective feels a little like the current stereotype of smart female investigator that is in every tv show, but soon you realize she is tortured and haunted by her career and a recent miscarriage she had that makes her way deeper than on the surface at first. It felt a little long in some parts that maybe could have translated better as a miniseries rather than a feature film, but overall it was good film that makes for a promising debut for the writer/director.
