jwcdood The first season of BLOODLINE took unnecessarily forever to develop and get off the ground, finally something happened in the last 3 episodes; when the second season became a pretentious 50s housewives soap opera, I bailed ASAP. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Audience Member Not bad, and I think the ending was a pretty good one, the one I had hoped for but was at times afraid it was going to go the total opposite direction. So, that was a good kind of surprise. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/03/23 Full Review Emilliano Jr S So eventually Stiffler become a father / counsellor / killer psycho? A very stiff acting performance from Sean William Scott Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/15/23 Full Review Hugo S Evan is a social worker and first-time dad who is haunted by a past of childhood abuse. He decides to take vengeance on the fathers of the students he councils at a local high school. "Bloodline" explores the traumas of a man who perpetuates in the present the violence he was subjected to in the past by his own father. A man who is willing to protect his family at all costs! The movie resembles the famous "American Psycho". Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/30/23 Full Review Karina P Bloodline is a must watch! Sean William Scott did an absolutely amazing job in this role. It shows his true capability to play serious roles other than the obvious of what comes to everyone's mind when they think of him, which would be "Stifler." It's one of my new favorites. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/24 Full Review Jeffrey P Unnecessary opening and an unjust ending for such a thoughtful opening and build. Chris Stuckmann ChrisStuckmann.com By no means a perfect film... but it's a big swing and even though it doesn't always connect, I admire when a filmmaker tries for one. Rated: B Oct 22, 2019 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times As a stressed-out high school guidance counselor who helps his students by murdering their abusive relatives, Scott walks a fine line between sympathetic and sinister, in a film that never really finds its purpose. Sep 21, 2019 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com A character study descends into a generic crime novel, complete with a final twist that simply isn't believable. Rated: 2/4 Sep 20, 2019 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...the picture segues into a sluggish narrative that grows less and less interesting as time (slowly) progresses... Rated: 1.5/4 Jul 28, 2021 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed Bloodline is a decent film that has horror elements but not quite enough to be horrific in and of itself. It's a good watch as a drama, so it's not a wasted film. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 4, 2020 Full Review Víctor López G. Espinof Despite Seann William Scott's great work as the lead, Bloodline suffers from a lack of surprises in its story. [Full Review in Spanish] Oct 21, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
